I somehow managed to break my first scuttle so I took my time with the second one. I found mocking up the shape of the scuttle with lots of clamps was the best way to assemble it.

I decided to make use of the broken scuttle and made a glovebox, this sloped down so that my things wouldn't fly out round the first corner.


I hope that red key is never needed.
